Sub 2000
9x19mm

The Kel-Tec Sub 2000 carbine is a very interesting rifle. A domestically produced firearm intended to provide a compact carbine in a time of non-sensible gun laws, the 2k folds in half, detaching the breech from the reciever. Thus, when the AWB was in effect, this rifle did not count as a folding stock, since it cannot be fired with when folded. It is a actually a very functional concept, since it is very compact when folded (I take it to the range in my pistol case), and it even has a built in lock to allow you to safely store it if kids are in the house. The last innovation is that the carbine is made in different versions, to accept different pistol magazines. My version takes Beretta mags, so it shares magazines with my Beretta 92FS. This allows me to take two guns, with one ammo and magazine to the range!
