1.  For all of you UO users, you may have noticed that the PDW model has some defects.  I have found a simple fix for this:
               Copy the file:
                      rsw_mp5k.RSB

                      From your Rogue Spear/data/texture folder to your Rogue Spear/mods/Urban
                      Operations/texture folder, overwriting the one contained there.

2.  Pie's Tactics has set up a new section in their forums just for me!  I will be answering mod related questions, and constantly plugging my mods =).  Take a look at Serellan's Mod Forum.

1.  I am setting the release date for the mission pack as Friday, June 2nd.  I am an the final stages of beta, and want to ensure a great single player experience.  I have revamped all of the missions (totally redone O:EP), and included one brand new mission, along with a new training mission.  The working name of Mission Pack: Deadly Protocol may be changed, due to some other mods with very similar names.

1.  Changed the look of the main page, replacing the title graphic and adding a guestbook.  Drop in and leave your mark on the Nest here!  I also updated the Latest Stats.

2.  Rodion released his latest mod, Fembots.  This one looks cool, although it contains some adult content, be sure and read the warning on his site. 

3. Sputnik Satellite's Weapons Mod v6.0 for Urban ops is out!  Take a look at Sputnik's site.

4.  David's Mods has moved to be hosted by Planet Rainbow Six.  Take a look at his new site here.

1.  Pie's Tactics has agreed to be the "official" mirror site for The Rooster's Mods.  Due to problems with accessing The Nest, I wanted to have an alternate location for people to go, and Pie4foo along with Midas agreed to help me out.  So if you ever have problems getting my mods, head over to Pie's Tactics Mods Section.  All of my mods should be uploaded in the next few days.  Thanks guys!

2.  Midas posted a review of Nato3, giving it an 89/100.  Take a look at Midas' Mod Focus.

3.  Rodion sends word that a new patch is out that fixes some problems in The Temporary Tango.  Get it at RodSpear.

1.  Posted up a version 2.01of The Rooster's Skins.  This updated version fixes the texture loading problem from the original.  You can now load up any combination of original and new skins with no problems.  Due to the amount of file changes, a patch was not doable (it would be almost as large as the new version), so 1.0 users need to grab the whole mod.

1.  For those of you who have told me about the texturing problems with The Rooster's Skins, thanks!  I have researched the problem (mainly in multiplayer), and am putting together a new version and a patch.  Thanks for your patience!

2.  I am working on reconfiguring The Rooster's Pistols for use with Nato3.  After I implement some tips from Q himself, I will post it up.

3.  I came up with the name for my upcoming Mission Pack.  It will be called Rogue Spear Mission Pack: Deadly Protocol.  This pack will incorporate all of my previously released missions revamped for use Urban Operations, along with a bonus mission, new sounds, tangos, and images!  Look for it in the next few weeks.

4.  Rodion posted his thoughts on N3, take a look here.  I posted some of my thoughts on the Forums, if you are interested stop in and post your opinions.

5.  I would like to thank Paladin06 for providing great feedback on my single player missions!  He has caught a lot of things that I missed, and that will make the upcoming Mission Pack that much better!  If you have thoughts on the missions, stop by & post what you think at the Forums.

7.  Thanks to everyone who sent my wife a get well message.  She really appreciated them.  The better she feels the more I can mod! =)

1.  If you haven't heard, Nato3 is out.  Take a look at the ARMM site.  Make sure to get the proper version for your game (RS or UO), and UO players disable primary & secondary weapons.

2.  Rodion has released the newest addition to his epic mod, The Temporary Tango.  Grab it at Rodspear.  If you keep an eye out you will see my name in the news.  =)

3.  My wife has been sick lately, she had complications from oral surgery.  If you enjoy my mods, send a get well e-mail to help me cheer her up!  Thanks!

4.  You may have noticed that sometimes when trying to get here, the ActionXtreme page loads, if this happens, just restart your browser & try again.  I have reported the problem, and it should be fixed soon.  Thanks for your patience.

5.  Liquid's RS Extravaganza is open, with movies and other neat stuff relating to RS/UO.  The site also features a picture of me (in RS), as part of their navigation bar.  What an honor!  Take a look. (Note that this page uses frames and may load slowly on some systems.

6.  If you are looking for mods or files related to the R6 line, check out Woody 2000. This site has the most extensive & up to date listing of files that I have seen.  And it is updated daily!

7.  For all you mod makers out there, Rick Cambell of RSE had this to say about actor files & the new UO mod system:

            Unfortunately some investigation revealed we do not do "search and replace" on actor files in mods 
      folders.   Sorry, its just one file type that got missed. Another note of interest is there is a limit of 100 actors that can be
      loaded (and each reserve speciality uses 8 slots inside the game). So we ship with 30 operatives, add to that 8 *
      5 = 40 reserve specialities and you have 70 used and 30 available. Of course if you mess with reserves you use
      up the 30 fast. If you are using mods with actor updates and the game crashes before you get to the main menu,
      odds are you exceeded the 100 limit. If you feel this is an important problem, you are advised as always to log a
      tech support problem.
