July 24, 2000

1. I have posted up version 1.1 of The Rooster's 50 Tangos. This version fixes a small problem with the Ruined City mission. If you have the original, simply install version 1.1 over it. Get it here.

2. I have written a small article for Pie's Tactics that I named "The State of Modding." Read it here.

July 17, 2000

1. I have decided to forgoe work on the single player enhancement for the Tango Skins Mod. Instead I will be completing an all new version, TSM v4.0. This mod will have more tango skins, and you will have the option of downloading either the single player (including pics & descriptions), or the multiplayer (same skins, no frills, tiny package) versions.

2. Due to popular demand and lots of e-mails, I have released the Multi-Uniforms Mod for Urban Operations. This small mod will allow you access to all uniforms when playing the single player campaigns in Urban Ops. Get the details here.

3. More problems with e-mail. It looks like I'm not getting any, so for the time being you can e-mail me at serellan@yahoo.com or jump over to the Forums.

4. If you have any ideas for mods, please feel free to let me know at the Forums. Also, be sure to check the Downloads page for some of my upcoming projects.

1. I updated the Fun/Action Shots page and the Latest Stats page, take a look to see the what happens when you get together for a LAN party!

2. Due to yet more e-mail problems, I just lost a lot of archived e-mail. So if you sent me mail that I have not responded to, please resend it, especially if you were one of the people in Alaska that were interested in coming to my LAN games! And if you live in the Anchorage area and are over 18, send me an e-mail if you want to come party with The Rooster!

1. I've posted up the version 1.2 Patch for Mission Pack: Deadly Protocol. This patch fixes some minor issues with the mod. Get the patch here.

1. I finished the new site design, let me know what you think! Also, if you find any broken links, please report them!

2. I have released an add-on to ARMM's Nato3. This mod will add 12 weapons, using N3's great recticles and sounds. These weapons are fun but have been tested to ensure balance. Included is a great model by Nishi, and ammo by Q that has been previously unavailable in N3! Check out all the details here!

3. Mother-May-I and Team TAOW have released an amazing total conversion mod, Japan. Take a look at Mother's Mod Intel.

4. Rodion has released another installment of The Temporary Tango, bringing the mod to a new height with some great work. Get the scoop at Rodspear.

1. I have released a new mod, Improved Camo. For a while now I have been dissatisfied with the wood and desert uniforms for Rogue Spear, so I darkened them up & added some more depth. I think this improves not only the look of the uniforms, but their use as camoflage. Here are some pics (click to enlarge, the tango in the view is to compare the older textures):

This mod is client-side only, so it will not affect your ability to join multiplayer games. I have created two versions of this mod, one for Rogue Spear and one for Urban Operations. Click these links to download this 2.7 meg file:

2. I have finished all work on the patch for Deadly Protocol and my Nato3 add-on, The Rooster's N3 Guns. They will be released soon after I finish up MP testing.

3. I have decided to redesign the site, as I am unsatisfied with the look and functionality of it. Look for my new site design soon.
